Come build
a home with us.
Our first projects are Habitat for Humanity homes, and volunteer crews are how they get built. The schedule below is published far in advance — pick a Saturday, register with Habitat, and we'll see you on site.

A schedule you can plan your life around.
Published well in advance
Every build day is posted here and coordinated with our Habitat affiliate at least four weeks out — most a full season ahead — so crews, churches, and companies can actually plan for it.
Registered through Habitat
Habitat for Humanity runs volunteer registration — waivers, age rules, and crew rosters — through their own system. Every build day here links you straight to the right signup.
Led by our crew leads
On site, 8th Street's licensed crew leads run every station. You don't need experience — you need closed-toe shoes, a water bottle, and a Saturday.
On the calendar now.
Wall Raising — Build Day
Help us raise exterior walls on a Habitat home. Crew leads from 8th Street Construction run every station — you'll swing a hammer within the first hour.
Registration closes Aug 8
Framing & Sheathing — Build Day
Interior wall framing and exterior sheathing. Great day for first-timers and returning crews alike.
Registration closes Aug 22
Roofing & Windows — Build Day
Roof decking and window installation with our licensed crew leads. Ground-crew roles available for anyone not comfortable on ladders.
Registration closes Sep 5
Siding & Paint — Community Day
Siding, trim, and exterior paint — the day the house starts looking like a home. Family-friendly (16+ on site, 18+ on tools).
Registration closes Sep 19
Volunteer registration, waivers, and day-of rosters are managed by Habitat for Humanity. Registering through their link above confirms your spot; we handle the building.

Bringing a company, church, or crew of ten-plus?
We coordinate private group build days with our Habitat partners — a dedicated crew lead, your own stations, and a date reserved months ahead.
